At Ajover S.A. we are committed to finding ways to reach sustainable development. By developing and applying different environmentally sound technologies Ajover seeks not only to protect but to preserve our environment.
Ajover S.A.’s internal regulations not only meet, but in most cases exceed, the environmental legal requirements and regulations of all of the countries where Ajover manufacturing plants are located. All of our foam products are certified as free from chlorofluorocarbons (CFC’s), following the guidelines set by the United Nations’ Montreal Protocol.
Furthermore, all of our plants properly handle industrial waste and sewage. Every effort is made not only to reduce waste at the source, but also to sort and manage waste in such a way so that it can be used by recycling companies. Likewise, we promote and maintain the growth of endemic vegetation around our manufacturing facilities as a way to preserve the ecosystems around them and help reduce global warming.
Ajover is also permanently educating its customers on the proper handling and disposal of its products once they have been used, therby helping assure the correct completion of their lifecyles.
All of our Darnel and Tami products are 100% recyclable.
Our Darnel foam products were the first to be certified as FREE FROM CHLOROFLUORCARBON substances in Colombia.
The above certification is only given to companies that prove, to the Technical Ozone Unit (UTO) of the Ministry of Environment, Housing and Territorial Development, that their products do not damage the ozone layer and that all harmful substances are properly handled.
